Description: Emotional Intelligence (EQ) is a person’s ability to recognize and manage their emotions. This introductory course is designed to lay the foundation for each individual participant to develop their own EQ.

Decision Making Models

Description:  Each day, leaders and contributors need to make decisions in order for the ministry to run efficiently and smoothly. For those larger decisions, there are plethora of models that can be employed to ensure that well-informed decisions are made and implemented. 

Objective: 

Learners will be able to:

  • Identify the proper decision making model based upon the unique set of circumstances in the workplace in alignment with the business strategy.

Managing Organizational Conflict

Description: Conflict is an inevitable part of our lives and daily interactions.  This course is designed to help participants understand their conflict resolution strategies and how to manage conflict in a positive manner that promotes strong relationships and cohesive teams.

 

Objective: 

Learners will be able to:

  • Identify and promote positive conflict that leads to better decisions, more creativity, and innovative solutions in the work place
  • Recognize the dysfunction of negative conflict
  • Implement strategies to reverse the negative trend caused by organizational conflict
