People who effectively manage both up and down the hierarchy are more successful, but managing up can be difficult for new leaders.

Description: The impact of integrity, ethics, humility, and character are the personifications of effective followership and leadership.

- Apply these traits in their daily lives to increase credibility as teammates in the workplace
Relationship Building
Description: Relationship building will focus on investing in people to galvanize to accomplish department and organizational goals.

Learners will be able to:
- Leverage influence to attract and motivate teammates
- Energize teammate relationships by applying the competencies to move the team forward
Motivational Tools To Increase Engagement In The Workplace
Description: Leaders must be able to motivate others, helping them be “all there” in the workplace. In this course, learners will acquire the basic tools to start the process of engaging and motivating a team.

- Identify signs of employee disengagement
- Employ various tools to increase team motivation & engagement
Management vs. Leadership, So What’s The Difference?
Description: Management and leadership are both essentially for an organization to function properly, but they are not the same. This course will focus on their differences when to apply the strategies attached to each.

- Explain the differences between management & leadership
- Apply management & leadership appropriately
Situational Leadership
Description: Leadership is not a static thing. There are different approaches to leadership appropriate for different situations. Hersey and Blanchard Situational Leadership model is has a proven track record for spanning five decades now.

- Identify different leadership styles based on the needs of the direct report.
- Apply each appropriately to optimize performance and promote direct reports growth.
Leading Virtual Teams
Description: Teamwork and collaboration looks different between teams working in the office and teams working remotely. This course will introduce learners to those differences and lay the foundation for leading virtually.

- Understand the unique challenges associated with leading virtual teams
- Be able to take steps to enhancing virtual teamwork & leadership
Servant Leadership In The Workplace
Description: The greatest example of leadership is found in the Bible, through the example of Jesus Christ. In this course, the servant leadership principles Christ modelled for us are reintroduced by Robert Greenleaf and applied to the workplace.

- Understand how to apply the 10 characteristic of a servant leadership in the workplace
Organizational Communication For Leaders
Description: It’s easy to have a message get lost in the shuffle of a large organization. With plenty of streams of communication, it’s easy to be unsure which method is best for which situation to ensure that your message gets across effectively and accurately.
Objective:
Learners will be able to:
- Identify various forms of organizational communication
- Use the appropriate method when communicating in their role
Leadership Continuum – Transformational, Transactional, Laissez-Faire
Description: Transformational Leadership – Is an influential leadership style that empowers change in both members and the organization. Moreover, transformational leaders as change agents build trust and inspire a shared vision among members of the organization. Transactional Leadership – recognizes follower’s needs and desires and leverage contingent rewards for job performance. Transactional leadership also use management-by-exception active and passive to achieve performance outcomes.
Objective: Transformational or Full Range Leadership Development (FRLD) is designed to help leaders identify how to use their influence to impact outcomes on three levels: follower, department, and organization. Applying these skills will increase the following:
